Myles Maillie attended high school in Nashville and went to Middle Tennessee State University on a Track scholarship, majoring in Business Administration and minoring in Economics. After graduation, he traveled to California, then returned to home and followed his mother into painting. Maillie gained early popularity painting bright-colored murals, buses and T-shirts. His work has evolved to include three-dimensional works. The painting of a New York subway (1983) hung in the home of his father, Don Maillie. Look closely at the subway carriage and you’ll see the names of Maillie’s friends and fellow softball teammates among the signage.

Love this Maillie!
