Artist Emily Holt layers scrap wood to create colorful surreal landscapes that are often home to found objects, toy soldiers or cartoonish animals. She teaches art at University school of Nashville. Holt’s intricately jigsawed wood sculpture “Mountain Mine” has been displayed at ArtQuest at the Frist Center for Visual Arts in Nashville.
