Nashville artist Susan Shockley, curator of the Parthenon Museum in Centennial Park, is motivated by music, poetry and automatic writing. Her work often depicts images from her dreams, such as this jawbone, a frequent motif in her drawings. Susan attended Harpeth Hall School in Nashville, Florida Southern College, Memphis College of Art, and Cornell University.
